Job Description: Senior Writer Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Senior Writer to provide supportive services for our federal client. This position will be performed remotely. The ECOMPEX career position supports the following: Review written material and revise it for clarity, grammar, style, and content. Ensure that all content meets the clients’ guidelines and standards. Provide suggestions or recommendations to writers and complete final review before submittal and publication. Prepare and create style guides to train writers and personnel on the clients preferred style and writing voice. Create templates to assist writers with producing documents and verify information to ensure it is accurate. Conduct research, review resources and perform fact checks on all written information. Create new content ideas and brainstorm ideas with the clients’ personnel to collaborate and create quality content. Review and revise all content as necessary to target specific audiences. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation. Must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field. Must have a minimum of 10 years of Technical Editing/Copywriting experience. Experience in writing policy content using materials such as NIST standards. Experience in drafting content, such as: social media posts, internal emails, talking points, briefings, memos, website content, presentations, and reports. Must have experience with Drupal or WordPress. Primary work location: Alexandria, VA / Remote work may be authorized. Travel Expectations: Travel may be required for this position.
