Job Purpose and Reporting Structure: Under general supervision, the Public Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, patients, visitors, medical staff, and physical assets of the clinic. This role involves controlling traffic inside and outside of buildings and performing related public safety duties as assigned. The Specialist works closely with all departments to design and implement safety equipment and security measures, addressing the security needs of the clinic effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enforce all safety and security policies to maintain a safe environment within the clinics.
• Collaborate with various departments on the design and utilization of safety equipment and security measures.
• Monitor the clinic's premises to ensure all security needs are addressed and responded to appropriately.
• Identify potential safety concerns and recommend effective corrective or preventative measures.
• Write comprehensive reports documenting daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized presence, or other unusual occurrences.
• Support a work environment that fosters positive working relationships and enhances departmental and clinic goals.
• Be adaptable and responsive to the needs of the department, accepting additional assignments and assisting others as needed to ensure continuous service delivery.
• Use work time effectively to accomplish tasks within expected timeframes.
• Respond positively to changes in a manner that supports departmental and clinic goals and objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with safety, infection control policies, and other procedures to ensure a safe environment for self and others.
• Address potential safety concerns related to equipment and the working environment proactively.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training in security, public safety, or a similar field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
