We are looking for an experienced scribe for a Cardiology practice. Candidate should have prior experience in scribing for a medical doctor preferably a Cardiologist used EHR such as eCW, or EPIC.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to assist healthcare professionals by documenting patient interactions and medical histories, ensuring accurate and timely recording of clinical data. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medicine and an interest in learning about healthcare systems while providing essential support to physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, and physical examination findings during clinical visits.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of medical records in real-time, following healthcare provider directives.
Assist in the organization of patient data, test results, and medical charts.
Prepare and update patient charts for upcoming appointments, including inputting lab results, imaging, and physician notes.
Work directly with healthcare providers to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Aid in the completion of patient forms and administrative duties as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic office software.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
