Job Description

SUMMARY

The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the Company's assets, providing visibility and accuracy of existing capital asset inventories for optimal utilization and budgeting efficiency. The Asset Manager will work to mitigate operational risks by enhancing collaboration and performance of individual and overall assets, assist in tracking and controlling capital asset physical inventories, effectively utilizing asset components and providing input for managing equipment life cycle. Key outcomes and responsibilities include collaboration with finance to assist in asset cycle counts, as well as working closely with maintenance and operational leaders to increase asset value and minimize overall risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and communicate asset management efforts companywide
  • Provide visibility and accuracy of capital asset inventories
  • Provide leadership for capital projects across regional area of operation
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance leadership to develop accurate yearly CAPEX projections.
  • Manage asset identification and traceability for capital assets in regional area of operation
  • Monitor and ensure operation of data acquisition modules for Well Service capital assets
  • Lead asset inventory and fixed asset verification/reconciliation process
  • Collaborate with finance, operations and maintenance teams to improve and develop asset management processes
  • Assist in training and mentoring field employees in CMMS program and provide support as needed
  • Assist in the commissioning, decommissioning and disposal of capital assets and facilities
  • Interact with functional process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, and business requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years of asset management, or equivalent relative industry experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-5 years of frontline management experience
  • Experience with maintenance management systems
  • Strong interpersonal relationship, time-management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of operational process design and ability to drive process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to effectively utilize available tools and resources (internal and external) to resolve issues
  • Position requires ~25% business travel. This percentage may be greater through the first 6-8 months

COMPUTER

  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Skype)
  • Proficient in QHSE Management Software
  • Skilled in FMCSA data basis and tracking systems
  • Skilled in GPS Tracking Software Applications

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings
