Optomi, in partnership with an innovative and fast-growing software company within the telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced Junior Product Owner for their Long Island City, NY; Plano, TX; Bethpage, NY locations! This Junior Product Owner will work closely with the Lead product owner, developers, GTM, and stakeholders to help define and deliver high-quality digital products.

Experience of the right candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a product role
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements from stakeholders and users.
• Support Lead PO with assessment and translation of business needs into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Triage and manage incoming bugs, feature requests, and support tickets from internal teams and customers.
• Partner with QA and development teams to reproduce, document, and prioritize issues.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing efforts across teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support lead PO in responsibilities around clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, engineering, Operations, Pricing, GTM, etc.
• Plan and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing to validate features spanning across a multi-platform ecosystem.
