Jr. Audio Visual Installers/Technicians Richmond VA Area

We are in search of skilled and experienced Audio Visual Installers / Technicians to join a successful Government / Commercial AV Integrator .

Responsibilities:

The AV installation Technician will be responsible for the installation maintenance and service of professional audio video control systems professional lighting and electronic equipment. Installer / Technician is responsible for completing projects in the most efficient and effective manner. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company while assuring a professional and safe working environment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the service or installation of audio video and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/Networks.
  
• Ability to work independently be selfdirected and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
  
• Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device.
  
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.
  
• InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus(Creston Extron Biamp AMX Dante).
  
• Minimum of 12 years installing audiovisual equipment including video panels speakers racking microphones A/V cabling and wiring.
  
• Loading and configuration of Crestron control systems.
  
• The ability to lift 5060 lbs. climb crawl and raise items overhead.
  
• Willingness to travel.
  

Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years\' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred

Education

University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. CTS-I Certification Preferred
