Food Production Operations Manager

Full time - Temp to hire


Monday thru Friday - 8am to 5pm


$70k to $95k a year depending on experience

Family-owned seasoning and spice company in Pacoima, producing high quality products found in all major supermarkets and meat markets in nine states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington, is looking for Food Production Operations Manager to join their team.

Summary : Seeking an experienced food production manager to oversee our food production operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing staff, overseeing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Hire, train, and manage production staff, including setting and monitoring performance goals.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement product launches.
• Create and maintain inventory records and manage raw material inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards, including HACCP and GMP.
• Identify and address production issues and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities.
• Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in food production management.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
