Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Inspector to join a leading Company located in the Rocky Mount, NC surrounding area.

Provide Quality Control Inspection support for the customer's Fuel Control System while partnering with manufacturing teams and leaders. You will ensure that quality is being maintained in all factors involved in production.

Responsibilities :

• Perform inspections
• Test parts and raw material
• Monitor and verify quality
• Recommend improvements
• Conform to specifications
• Record observations
• Audit quality control programs
• Develop specs and procedures
• Improve quality practices
• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes

Basic Hiring Criteria :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing facility

Desired Qualifications :

• Knowledge of labeling requirements
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the quality control inspection field
• Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests
• Ability to lift up to 15lbs
• Proactively and clearly communicate important, comprehensive, and specific information that others need
• Ability to read technical data and specifications
