When our countrys cybersecurity is on the line, simply reacting is not enoughwe need a plan. And when that plan needs to protect the DoD's enterprise, we need strategic development. Thats why we need you, a data specialist with the skills to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and development specialist on our team, youll assess DoD CIO's current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. Youll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, youll work on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. Youll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have:

• Experience with data and metrics analysis
• Knowledge of the Department of Defense and its components
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Knowledge of threat and user activity monitoring practices and applications
• Ability to translate technology, intelligence, or cybersecurity information into enterprise-level reports and strategy documents
• TS / SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information technology, or 14+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information technology in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience within the DoD at a senior-level office or Joint Command
• Experience overseeing a cybersecurity focused-team, project, or work effort
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and their applications
• Knowledge of CATMS or a similar task management system to direct tasking across a broad organization
• Ability to conduct required research and coordination to represent leadership intent and interests
• Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills to communicate with executives and C-suite equivalence

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
