The CRG Compliance Analyst is responsible for remaining well-informed of the regulations that the Retail, Mortgage and Recovery Credit Resolution Department must remain in compliance with. The Compliance Analyst will monitor regulations for changes and regularly review department procedures, letters, and job aids to ensure compliance with bank regulations, policies, and investor requirements. Further, the Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing the complaints process for the department. They will receive complaints and work with various internal and servicing (vendor) personnel, to analyze complaints, identify root causes and provide written responses in accordance with regulation and bank policy and will keep management informed of emerging trends and risks, requiring mitigation.
Will review documentation sent by servicers or vendors to ensure compliance to regulation and policy.
Recommends process or system enhancements that improve internal controls and adherence to regulation.
Provide reports regarding analysis, results, and operational performance to assist management with strategic enhancements.
Facilitates the security and integrity of Bank activities by ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards.
Other duties include supporting regulatory exams, audits, and risk assessments, responding to regulatory intelligence reviews, and ensuring QC test plans include compliance related components and that remediation plans on compliance related issues are mitigating the risks.
