This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

In this position you will :

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr's policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assist in the completion of production orders.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements :

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr's s driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am -- 4:30pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries is needed. The pay rate is $20-22/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and PTO (which starts as soon as you do!). Candidates for this position must have a good attitude, a desire to work hard with a great team, and the ability to be a self-starter.
